An AI poker coach that is there during the session, not only after it

Poker Mentor is a voice-based AI coach called Peter. It runs alongside your game rather than inside it: you talk, it listens, asks questions and gives feedback. It is not a solver, not a HUD, and it does not play hands or make decisions for you.

The focus is on how you play — your decision-making process, your focus, your reactions when a session goes badly, and the habits that show up again and again.

Most of the value sits in the parts of improvement that usually get skipped: arriving at the table with a clear intention, noticing in the moment when something is off, and reflecting while the session is still fresh.

A human coach usually works in scheduled blocks — an hour every week or two, built around hands you selected and can still remember. That format is valuable, but it is separated from the session where the decisions actually happen.

Poker Mentor works continuously and on demand. It is available at the moment a question comes up, and it has the context of what you just did. It does not replace deep technical work with a coach or with solvers — for range construction, solver study and detailed technical review, a specialised coach or tool is still the right thing. Many players use Poker Mentor alongside that work and bring their session notes and reports into their human coaching.

Before you start, a short spoken warm-up sets one focus for the session: something you are working on, something that went wrong last time, or simply how you intend to play today. It takes a couple of minutes and turns a vague intention into something concrete you can be held to.

During the session you can speak whenever something matters — a hand you are unsure about, a read, a moment of frustration. Peter mostly listens and captures the context; it is designed to stay out of the way rather than talk over your game.

Because the context is captured as you go, you do not have to reconstruct the session from memory afterwards.

When you stop playing, you can debrief immediately as a conversation. You get a summary of the session and the main observations, and you can go deeper on any spot in chat when you want a longer discussion.

Each session adds to your player memory. Over time this makes the coaching specific: the patterns that keep returning, the goals you set, what tends to throw you off, and where your game is changing.

Mental game is a central part of the product, but not the whole of it. Focus and tilt are treated as things you observe and work on session by session, together with the quality of your decisions and the honesty of your reflection.
